LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Sunny Lane, the lead character in Adam & Eve's "Love Boat XXX" parody, turned up in the new Hollywood movie "Don Jon" which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
"The other night I was in the movie theater in Las Vegas and I saw myself up there on the big screen and it blew me away," Lane said. "Even though I share screen time with this handsome star, I never actually got to meet him."
The star of "Love Boat XXX" got placed in the Hollywood movie when the producers of "Don Jon" selected a sexual clip of hers from Elegant Angel's "Big Wet Asses 13."
The movie pays a certain homage to the adult movie industry when Gordon-Levitt's fast-talking, club-humping, New Jersey character Jon can't stop masturbating to porn in between his sexual trysts with female club-goers. The journey is hilarious and winds up each week in a Catholic confessional where he tells the priest he's sorry for jerking off 22 times and fornicating out of wedlock.
"I love the movie it was really funny," Lane said.
She'll next appear at the Everything To Do with Sex Convention Oct. 18-20 in Toronto, where she will be signing autographs and posing for photos in the HotMovies booth.
"I love HotMovies and Ron Jeremy will be in Toronto with me so I can't wait to see my Canadian fans this weekend," she said.
Fans interested in meeting Lane can come to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Lane has already received some favorable reviews so far and Grantland.com, an entertainment blog site praises her appearance in "Don Jon."
"One of the longer porn clips in 'Don Jon' features adult actress Sunny Lane, showing off her barely clad body for a camera," according to the blog. "Lane is fascinating, and not just because she is an excellent porn star. She trained as an ice dancer before a career-ending injury turned her toward stripping, and then porn. Lane's parents managed her ice dancing career, and transitioned into managing her porn career. Her mother formerly sewed her ice dancing costumes and now makes Sunny Lane's outfits for dancing and porn."
Lane will be back in Hollywood co-hosting the adult industry Halloween bash known as Heaven & Hell, Saturday, Oct. 26 at Couture in Hollywood thrown by Will Ryder, Scott David and Danny B and sponsored by Adam & Eve Pictures, HotMovies and X-Play.
